🌓 Acer Laptop Bluetooth Not Working Windows 7

May2013. Hello, I have E1-531 Acer Aspire, but no one of the drivers in the website were found by the auto installation manager of the Device Manager of Windows 7 32 bit. The bluetooth device is installed and working as I see it from the taskbar, but the wireless network card somehow could not be installed with the drivers from the website.

Heres the Windows 7 standard procedure: 1. Click on the Start button. 2. Type Bluetooth in the search box. 3. Select Change Bluetooth Settings. 4. From the Dialog Box, check the Allow Bluetooth Devices to Find This Computer checkbox. Good luck.

OKso when i bought this laptop it came with 8.1 and of course was upgraded to Windows 10 within a few days of firing it up for the first time. At first my bluetooth wasn't working but after a few weeks Microsoft or Acer applied an update that repaired the issue however that only lasted a brief time and the issue started again. NoN I just got my Acer Aspire 4745G which comes with a built-in Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. I had Windows 7 Ultimate installed, and I looked all over the files and folders but couldn't find bluetooth. I downloaded the 2 drivers from Acer, for Atheros and Broadcom, but when I try to install Broadcom, it says bluetooth cannot be detected.

First of all thanks for the quick response to my problem. When I say I've spent ages trawling google for solutions, the main things I've come across are typing bluetooth into search box from start menu to bring up Bluetooth settings, checking that bluetooth services are running from the services.msc, running Microsoft FixIT. Its said that by not giving out drivers for win 7, you are basically forcing people to run win8 in order for this laptop to work 100 % properly. Anyways, if there are anything I can do for this laptop to run on win 7 and still get the bluetooth to work, then Im happy. At least my old acer (timelinex 4810T) had bluetooth activation on Fn + F3

ServicePack 2 adds Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities. Windows 7: RC no longer includes a Bluetooth audio class driver (However, do support A2DP) Since my laptop is a lower end of the Acer Aspire series it does not have Bluetooth hardware built in. What I did was go to eBay and bought a USB Bluetooth dongle and with a week and a half waiting November2021. Show us a picture of Device Manager showing the unknown device, then bring up properties on it and in the details tab show us the Hardware IDs. Sonybluetooth headset will not work on Acer One 10 running Windows 10-32 bit. Works fine on Dell Vostro running Windows 10 and HP running Windows 7. Possibly an Acer problem rather than Windows 10, but the Acer connects to Experia phone, Vostro and Dell ok, as do the headphones.

Mysymptoms were: A) Bluetooth stopped working; *B) The Bluetooth radio button was missing in settings; and C) There were no Bluetooth devices in Device Manager.
