Thes have a weak point with the pump in the tank. It is under a cap under the rear seat, get someone to turn the ignition on and listen if no noise give it a tap and see if it whirrs, slacken a pipe on the filter and see if there is pressure, if not the pumps are available from factors or on line. Re: 207 HDI starter. Hahahahahahahahaha!!!! I tried 3 times on my 307, but scrapped the car before I managed it! There are 3 bolts - one is obvious from underneath. One is fitted from gearbox side and requires removal of the battery and support tray (which has a bolt fitted from inside the wheel arch) even then you can't see it, but it's

The starter motor is right in front of you slightly left of centre. There is one moulded cable cover that seems to be in your way but ignore it = you can work round it. There are 2 wires on 2 connectors on the solenoid part. Then all you have to remove is the 3 bolts to the right (2 are 8mm hex + 1 is 15mm spanner).
